Genuine Kirby bag latch for the Kirby Generation 5 (G5) upright vacuum. The bag latch secures the outer cloth bag assembly to the cleaner, holding the disposable-bag system and emptor in place so airflow and suction stay sealed during use.
When the latch wears, cracks, or no longer clips firmly, the bag can sag or work loose, hurting suction and sealing. This OEM replacement (Part #196497S) restores a secure, positive hold on the bag assembly.
