This is the genuine black bag strap collar clamp for Kirby Generation series upright vacuums. The clamp secures the top of the outer cloth bag (shake-out or disposable-bag assembly) to the fill tube collar, holding the bag firmly in place during operation and preventing it from slipping during use.
Made of durable molded plastic in black to match the Kirby Generation aesthetic, this collar/clamp is the correct service replacement when the original has cracked, warped, or lost its grip on the bag collar. It is a direct replacement that ships in place of older part number 196514S (Part #196525).
