Ordering a nozzle for a Kirby Generation 6? Part 141699S is the one, the floor nozzle for the G6, the model Kirby badged GSIX.
Nozzle housings are consumable in the long run. Bare-floor use grinds the front lip down, impacts crack the shell around the mounting points, and heat and age make the plastic brittle enough that a routine bottom plate removal snaps a tab. The result is a head that will not seal, and a machine that gets noisier while cleaning less.
Because the Generation nozzles are not interchangeable across the series, check that your machine is the Generation 6 and not a G5 or an Ultimate G before you order. Fit your existing brushroll and belt into the new housing, and confirm the bottom plate latches tight against the fresh lip once assembled.
