Part 675799 is the complete Generation 6 handle grip from Kirby. It is the full assembly rather than a trim piece, and it covers rather more than the G6 alone.
Handles are where a Kirby shows its age. The grip cracks at the fork, goes soft and tacky, or splits so the machine ends up being steered by the metal underneath. None of that stops the vacuum working, but it makes a heavy machine unpleasant to push and awkward to carry up a flight of stairs.
The same handle fits the Generation 3, G4, G5 and G6, the Ultimate G, the Diamond Edition and the Sentria, so one part covers most of the Generation-series machines still in service. Fitting it is a handle-fork job rather than a strip-down of the machine.
