Product details
Scuff plate for the Kirby Generation 6, part 111299. It is the protective strip along the front of the nozzle, positioned exactly where the machine meets baseboards, chair legs and door frames.
Its whole job is to be damaged instead of the housing. Over the years it wears thin and eventually cracks, and at that point the nozzle shell behind it starts taking the knocks directly. A jagged plate will also begin leaving marks on the paintwork it slides past.
The replacement mounts to the original fixing points on the G6 for a direct swap. It is listed for the Generation 6 specifically, and Kirby's scuff plates changed between generations, so check the model badge rather than assuming a plate from another machine will line up.
