Part AMC-XUC5FY is the wheel shaft lock ring for Panasonic vacuums, the small retainer that holds a wheel on its shaft. It is listed for the MC-6640 and MC-6647, and also for the MC-6815 and MC-6915.

Nobody thinks about this part until a wheel comes off. The ring is what stops the wheel walking off the end of the shaft, and when it cracks or goes missing the wheel first develops a wobble, then leans, then drops away entirely — usually mid-room, and usually leaving the corner of the housing dragging on the floor. On hardwood or laminate that is a scratch you will be looking at for years.

It is a few cents of plastic doing a job worth much more than that. Check the shaft and the wheel bore for wear while the ring is off, since a worn shaft will chew through a new ring.
