A flat belt for Carpet Pro's commercial uprights, part B014-0714. It drives the brush roll on the CPU-1, CPU-2, CPU-3N, CPU-3QD, CPU-4N and CPU-4T, on the CMP-3N, CMP-3QD and CMP-3T, on the Clean Max CMPS-QD, and on the Fuller Brush FBHD, FBMM and FBP-14PW uprights.
Flat belts rarely announce themselves by snapping. They stretch, a little at a time, until the brush roll turns slower than the motor thinks it does. Carpet stops looking groomed after a pass, pet hair stays woven into the pile, and there is often a faint hot-rubber smell ten minutes into a job.
On a machine that runs every day, changing it on a schedule beats waiting for it to fail: a stretched belt slips on the motor pulley and wears the pulley along with it.
