This ProTeam carbon brush set is a genuine wear-part replacement for ProTeam Aviation series backpack vacuum motors. Each package contains two motor carbon brushes (SKU: 100173), enough to service a single motor's pair of brush holders in one repair.
Carbon brushes ride against the motor commutator to transfer current to the spinning armature. As they wear down, you'll notice weaker suction, intermittent running, arcing, or a motor that won't start. Replacing both brushes at the same time restores full motor power and protects the commutator from uneven wear.
