Carbon brushes are the wear-away contacts that feed electricity into a vacuum motor's spinning core — they're designed to slowly sacrifice themselves so the motor doesn't. On ProTeam ProForce uprights, worn-out carbons show up as sparking near the motor, an intermittent cutout when the machine is jostled, or a motor that won't start at all. Installing this replacement set is the classic way to revive a ProForce without paying for an entire motor. Part #105281.
