Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Part R7141B is the water pan latch spring for the Rainbow E series canister. It supplies the tension inside the latch that keeps the water pan clamped against the housing while the machine runs.
A spring that has weakened or broken shows up as a latch that no longer closes with any authority. The pan can feel loose, or it can pop open on its own when the canister is lifted by its carry handle, and a loose pan breaks the seal that keeps suction and water where they belong.
Springs like this one fatigue gradually with repeated opening and closing rather than failing all at once, so a latch that used to snap shut firmly and now barely holds is worth checking before anything else on the water pan. Comparing the tension of the old spring against a new one is usually enough to confirm which part is at fault.
Fitting a new spring restores the tension the latch needs to hold the pan shut through normal handling. It is a small, inexpensive part and worth checking first whenever a Rainbow's water pan will not stay latched.
