Ten M4 x 12 machine screws, each supplied with its washer already on the shank, catalogued by SEBO as part 0197ER. The washer spreads the clamping load over a wider footprint of the plastic moulding, so the head beds down evenly instead of digging a crater around the boss it is pulling against. The single of the same fastener is stocked as 0197.

Fasteners are what go missing during a repair — one rolls off the bench, another comes out with a chewed cross recess, a third is left in a tray with a washer that has already parted company with it. A strip of ten on the shelf means the job closes up with every screw where SEBO put it, and with the washer that belongs to it. Where the drawing calls for this version, substituting a bare screw leaves the head bearing on too little plastic, and the joint loosens over the following weeks rather than immediately, which makes it a difficult fault to trace later.
