This genuine SEBO Filter Safety Catch Rod fits the SEBO 370 series of the 300-family uprights. The rod is the pivoting element of the filter safety catch, the interlock that keeps the filter cover secured before the machine will run properly.
The rod sees constant movement as the safety catch is engaged and released, and over time it can bend, wear, or seize so the catch no longer holds the cover reliably. A catch that fails to latch lets the filter compartment loosen, which can break the airflow seal and defeat the safety function. A new rod restores smooth, positive catch action.
