The swivel elbow is the jointed black adaptor between the wand and the power nozzle on a Filter Queen canister, ordered as part 4210000901. It is the piece that lets the AT1100 power nozzle lie flat under furniture while still holding a sealed air path up to the wand, and it is listed for the 75th Anniversary, the 360, the 112C and the Majestic M360SS.
Elbows fail two ways. The plastic cracks at the collar and suction bleeds out at the joint instead of reaching the carpet, or the swivel stiffens with packed grit so the nozzle fights you every time you change direction. Either one shows up the same way at the floor: a head that steers heavily and picks up less than it used to.
A new elbow returns both the seal and the free pivot. It fits by hand between the wand and the nozzle neck.
