Part 571005112 is the power nozzle motor with the grooved shaft, used in Titan T8000, T9200, T9400 and TCS973 nozzles. It is the small motor inside the nozzle head that drives the brush roll; the grooves on its shaft mate with the ribs of the matching drive belt.

Suction and agitation come from different motors on these machines, which is why a failed nozzle motor is easy to misread. The canister still pulls hard, the hose is clear, but the roller does not turn and carpet stays matted. Before it stops entirely a tired motor usually announces itself with a hum and no rotation, a stall when the roll meets thick pile, or a hot, sharp smell after a few minutes of use.

Fit a fresh grooved belt at the same time. A belt that has been slipping against a failing motor is rarely worth putting back.
