When the T5 brush roll goes quiet, this genuine Titan power nozzle motor (Part #DS38) is the usual cure. It fits the Titan T5 power nozzle and drives the brush roll through the belt to agitate carpet.
A motor with worn brushes, dry bearings, or a burned winding will hum, stall, or stop turning the brush roll even while the main vacuum still pulls suction. That leaves carpet un-agitated and can trip the nozzle's thermal protection. A new motor restores full brush-roll speed and torque.
