The upholstery tool supplied with the Titan T3600 bagged upright, part 571039102, is the wide flat nozzle for fabric: sofa cushions, mattress tops, stair treads and car seats. It pushes onto the hose or wand for above-floor work.
Its width is the point. A bare hose end concentrates suction on a small circle and drags at the weave, while the broad mouth of an upholstery tool covers a cushion in a few strokes and lifts dust and hair without pulling the fabric out of shape. Between the sofa, the stairs and the car, upholstered surfaces hold a surprising share of the dust in a house.
This is the Titan replacement for the T3600, worth ordering if the original has cracked at the neck or vanished into the back of a closet along with the crevice tool.
