Front wheel assembly for the Bissell BGU1451 and SL4110 commercial uprights, part 1613379, including the BGU1451T. It carries the front of the machine and lets it swing as you steer, which on a commercial upright means hours a day rather than minutes a week.
Wheels on these die from the inside. The bearing surface wears oval, the wheel begins to wobble, and it eventually seizes and skids instead of rolling. A skidding wheel is easy to spot on hard floors because it leaves marks, and easy to feel on carpet because the machine suddenly needs pushing rather than guiding.
Replace it as soon as it starts to wobble. A seized wheel dragged across vinyl or sealed wood will mark the floor, and putting that right costs a great deal more than the wheel does.
