Trovac 120V Power Cord for Central Vacuum Units

Part ELECOR01 is a Trovac 120V power cord built to replace the lead that feeds a central vacuum power unit's motor circuit. Once the original cord frays, cracks, or works loose at the plug, symptoms usually follow close behind: the unit refuses to start, cuts out mid-clean, or only runs when the cord sits in one exact position against the wall.

Cord failures rarely happen all at once. Insulation near the strain relief flexes every time someone coils or moves the cord, so that section thins out first and eventually splits, long before the wire itself gives out. A power unit that starts fine one day and not the next, with no change to the motor or the switch, is telling you the fault sits in the cord rather than deeper in the unit. Catching a cracked jacket early also heads off a bigger repair, since exposed wire near a plug is a hazard as much as a nuisance, and a unit that will not start reliably at the wall is not a safe one to keep running while you decide whether to replace the lead.
