Sharp Agitator Support - EC...

Product details

Part LSTY-A016VBF0 is the agitator support for the Sharp EC-2650 upright, the small bracket that holds the brush roll's end steady in its housing so the roll runs true against the nozzle.

When this support wears or cracks, the brush roll picks up play at that end. It can wobble, drag against the housing, or sit out of alignment enough to slow down or stall under load. Left alone, the loose end also puts uneven stress on the roll's bearing and belt, so an inexpensive support turning into a bigger repair is a common pattern on this style of upright.

  • Part: LSTY-A016VBF0, agitator support
  • Fits: Sharp EC-2650 upright
  • Function: holds the brush roll end steady in its housing
  • Watch for: a brush roll with side play, or one that scrapes the housing as it turns

Replace the support with the roll out of the nozzle, and clear any wound hair from that end before refitting so the new bracket seats flush.
