The ET-1 is an electric head, motor-driven rather than air-driven, so its roller keeps combing when it meets thicker carpet. The parquet brush is the tool for the rest of the house, laying soft bristles over boards, tile and stone. What comes up is captured in a filter bag with a cap that closes as the bag is withdrawn, and the cushioned airbelt around the shell is what keeps a towed canister from chipping paint on door casings.
