The ET-1 turns its roller from its own motor instead of borrowing the airstream, which is what keeps it effective in deeper carpet, and the dual-control handle switches it on or off and sets suction from the grip. Dirt collects in a filter bag that caps itself as it is lifted clear, so the bag change stays clean, and the cushioned airbelt around the body protects baseboards and furniture legs while the canister is towed.
