SEBO Axle for ET-C Power Heads

Product details
Inside an ET-C power head this shaft is the pivot a moving assembly turns on as the nozzle travels across carpet and hard floors. Part 2009 is the genuine SEBO axle for that position.
An axle that has worn oval, taken a bend, or packed itself with wound hair and fine grit stops letting the component it carries turn freely. You feel it as a head that has become heavier to push, hear it as a rattle or a squeak that was not there a year ago, or notice it as drag pulling the nozzle to one side of the pass. Whatever the axle carries then wears faster than it should, since a shaft no longer running true loads its bearing surfaces unevenly. A straight replacement takes the friction back out of the head.
Fitment is straightforward: SEBO ET-C power heads, one axle, supplied on its own rather than as part of a kit. What is worth knowing is that an axle rarely fails alone. The debris that wears a shaft has usually been through the bearing seats and the wheels around it first, so a head opened for this reason is a head worth going through properly while it is on the bench. The axle spring, part 2010, is listed for the ET-C as well and is the natural companion order.
- Fits: SEBO ET-C power heads
- Function: shaft for a rotating assembly inside the power head
- Replace when: the head is stiff to push, rattles, or drags to one side
- Part number: 2009, sold individually
- Related ET-C service parts: 2010 axle spring, 2002SW chassis and bottom plate set, 2005ER metal bottom plate set
With the head apart it is worth clearing thread and hair off the wheels and checking the bearing seats before everything goes back together, since the debris that finishes an axle is usually working on its neighbours as well. Genuine SEBO spare, shipped in 2-5 business days.
