Red-trimmed machines take their own version of this component. Part 5031DR1 is the bearing block that carries the right-hand end of the brush roll, finished in red and gray black, recorded at position 122 of SEBO's exploded parts diagram.

It fits the SEBO AUTOMATIC X4 and the SEBO AUTOMATIC X4 Boost. Bearing blocks are consumable in a way brush rolls are not. Hair and grit work past the seal, the bore opens up, and the roll begins running rough and noisy long before its bristles are finished. The early signs are a dry rasp that rises with roll speed and a machine that feels like harder work across carpet than it used to. Renewing the block takes a few minutes with the roll already out, and it lifts the extra drag straight back off the motor. Match the color as well as the model when ordering, because this range uses the same design in several finishes and only the matching one is listed for a given machine.

Left-hand block 5766HG covers both of these machines, so a pair is easy to order together. The roll runs on belts 5110 and 5463 with motor pulley 5462 behind them, and 8366WS is the tool for cutting hair off the bristles before it reaches the bearing in the first place. Matching red trim includes exhaust filter cover 5711DR, and power head covers are 5778AM and 50778SE on the AUTOMATIC X4 and 50799DR on the AUTOMATIC X4 Boost. Brush rollers 5010AM and 5010GE, the latter in soft bristle, suit both machines.
