SEBO Motor Pulley Cover for X Series and G Series Uprights — Black

Every SEBO upright in the X and G ranges drives its brush roller through a toothed belt running over a pulley on the motor shaft, and 5112SW is the black moulded guard that closes over that drive. SEBO shows it at position 131 on the AUTOMATIC X7/X8 parts drawing, and the same moulding is carried right across the range — AUTOMATIC X1, X2, X4, X4 Boost, X5, X7 Premium, X7 Pet and X8, together with the ESSENTIAL G1, G2, G4 and G5.

Its job is to keep the drive area covered: fingers out, and hair, thread and grit off the pulley and the belt running on it. These covers get broken during belt changes about as often as they do in service, and running without one leaves the drive open to exactly the debris that shortens belt life. A cracked or missing guard usually announces itself as a rattle from the base of the machine, or as fine belt dust collecting around the pulley area, and it is a quick change while the base plate is already off for a belt.
