SEBO Complete Belt Adjuster...

Product details
A brush roll that slows the moment it meets thick carpet is usually a tension problem rather than a motor problem. The belt adjuster, part 52011ER, is the mechanism that holds the drive belt at its working tension on the AUTOMATIC X7 Premium, AUTOMATIC X7 Pet and AUTOMATIC X8, and it is supplied here as one complete unit, listed at position 113 on the AUTOMATIC X7/X8 exploded diagram.
As the adjuster wears, tension drifts low. The belt begins to slip on its pulley under load, slip generates heat, and heat glazes the belt until it can no longer grip at all — so the machine passes through a phase of smelling hot and sounding fine before the brush stops turning altogether. Renewing adjuster and belt together is the usual approach, because a belt rarely comes through the episode that revealed the fault in reusable condition.
- Part number: 52011ER
- Supplied: complete belt adjuster
- Job: maintains working tension on the brush drive belt
- Diagram position: 113 on the AUTOMATIC X7/X8 parts breakdown

While the assembly is out, check the pulley faces for polish and the belt path for stray hair — a belt that has been slipping has often been cutting into whatever wrapped around the shaft. Typical searches that land here are SEBO belt adjuster, AUTOMATIC X7 belt tensioner and X8 brush roller slipping. Ordering the adjuster and a belt at the same time saves opening the machine twice for what is really one repair.
