This genuine OEM grooved belt restores proper brush roll drive to the Bissell 1009, Bissell 18082, Bissell 2598. Without a functioning belt, the brush roll cannot agitate carpet fibers, resulting in poor dirt pickup.
Grooved belts deliver reliable power transfer from the motor to the brush roll. They resist slipping better than flat belts but do wear over time. If your brush roll spins slowly or has stopped turning, replacing this belt will restore proper agitation for deep carpet cleaning.
