Product details
Part 1600318 is the brush roll dowel for Bissell's compact uprights, the pin that runs through the roller end and locates it in the base so the brush spins true instead of rattling in its seat.
Small part, large effect. A worn or bent dowel lets the roller sit off-center, which chews the belt on one side, makes the machine louder and leaves an unagitated strip behind on each pass. If the roller can be rocked by hand with the base plate off, this is the part to look at.
It fits the AeroSwift and PowerSwift compact uprights, covering the Bissell 1009, 18082, 2598, 2612 and 2613. Clear the packed hair from the roller ends while you have it apart, since that debris grinding against the dowel is usually what wore it out in the first place.
