Clean water tank for the Bissell CrossWave, part 1614237, the tank fitted to the 2305K. It is the solution tank the machine draws from as it washes, holding the water and the formula together.
Tanks crack at the corners and around the neck, and the seal at the outlet stiffens with age. The stiff seal is the more common of the two and the harder to spot, because the tank looks perfectly dry while the machine pulls air alongside the solution: the floor comes up under-wetted and the foot spits rather than laying down an even film.
It fits the CrossWave 2306 and 2328. Empty and rinse it after every clean instead of storing it full, since formula left standing is what hardens the seal and stains the plastic.
