Product details
The HEPA filter for Bissell MultiClean bagless uprights, part 1625641. It is the last filtration stage before air leaves the machine, catching the fine dust the separator and pre-filter let through.
A HEPA element is pleated to pack a lot of surface area into a small housing, and those pleats gradually fill with fines that no amount of tapping will shift. Once restricted, the filter chokes airflow and the motor works harder against it — you get a machine that sounds strained, runs hotter, and cleans worse than it did the day it was emptied. Anything blowing past a split or badly seated filter goes straight back into the room.
This filter fits the Bissell 2849, 2999, 3000 and 3057. Replace it every six to twelve months depending on how hard the machine works. Note that the 3059 Pet Lift-Off takes a different filter, so check your model before ordering.
