This pre-motor filter (Part #203-1569) protects the motor on the Bissell PowerGroom upright vacuum. Installed in the airflow path ahead of the motor, it traps fine dust and debris that escape the dirt container, shielding the motor windings and keeping suction steady from the start of a cleaning session to the end.
