Product details
This is the water tank cap with its flexible straw, Bissell part 2032287, used on the Lift-Off deep cleaning systems. The cap seals the tank and the straw reaches to the bottom of it so the pump can draw solution right down to the last of the fill.
Caps are the part that gets dropped, trodden on and cross-threaded. A cracked cap or a perished seal lets the machine pull air instead of solution, and the spray goes weak or stops altogether while the tank is still half full. A straw that has split or come adrift does the same thing once the level drops below it.
It fits the 24A4, 2505, 2891, 30K7, 3624, 66E1 and 80X9, and the BGSS1481. Hand-tighten only, since over-torquing the cap is what distorts the seal in the first place.
