Product details

This rubber ball valve is a replacement for the trigger assembly on Bissell carpet cleaners, part number 5559120 (also listed as 010-0325). Pressing the trigger holds it open just long enough to release a dose of cleaning solution toward the nozzle.

Once it wears out, getting solution through the nozzle is usually the first function to go. A carpet cleaner that sprays inconsistently, leaks fluid when the trigger is released, or produces no spray at all often has a worn valve rather than a bigger problem with the pump or tank.

  • Fits: Bissell carpet cleaners using this trigger valve.
  • Part: rubber ball valve, part number 5559120, cross-referenced as 010-0325.
  • Check first: confirm the solution tank actually has fluid in it before assuming the valve has failed.

Match the part number on your machine's trigger assembly against 5559120 or its 010-0325 cross-reference. These valves are sized to the assembly they seat in, and one that looks close in the hand is not always right once it is in place.
