Bosch part 483331 is the filter frame for the BSG81313UC canister. The frame is the carrier the filter sits in, holding the media square to the housing so all the air has to pass through it rather than around it.
Frames crack at the corners, warp with heat, or go missing altogether after a filter change. When that happens the filter no longer seats flat and air takes the easy route past the edge. What you see is dust on the exhaust side and, over a longer run, fine grit reaching the motor that the filter was there to stop.
Set the filter into the frame, check it sits flush the whole way round, then close the compartment. Confirm your canister is a BSG81313UC before ordering.
