This OEM handle release pedal assembly restores the recline function on the Carpet Pro CPU1QD and similar Fuller Brush FBP-HD2 uprights. Pressing the pedal unlocks the handle so it lowers for cleaning and locks upright again for storage.
Handle release pedals take repeated foot pressure and are among the most commonly replaced parts on an upright. A worn or cracked pedal may stick, fail to unlock, or let the handle flop freely. A fresh assembly returns comfortable, controlled handle movement without replacing the whole handle.
