Part 1193 is a 2-inch, 90-degree metal spigot elbow for central vacuum piping. The spigot end seats directly into the hub of the next fitting without a separate coupling, which keeps the joint count down in crowded runs behind walls and between floor joists where space is already tight.
Metal is the deliberate choice at a 90-degree turn specifically. Debris moving through a central vacuum line hits hardest where the airflow changes direction sharply, and a plastic elbow at that spot wears from the inside over years of heavy material passing through it, thinning until it eventually fails at a full hard turn.
