Product details
SEBO ESSENTIAL G2 and G5 uprights take a chassis of their own, and part 2822HG is it: the light gray frame, supplied whole and ready to build onto. These are the wide-head machines in the range, running a 15 inch brush roller, so the frame is not interchangeable with the narrower version.
Chassis damage tends to arrive slowly. A hairline crack around a bearing seat or a screw boss gives the roller a little freedom, and from there the belt starts to wander, one end of the brush wears faster than the other, and the head stops sitting level. By the time it is obvious, the belt has usually been replaced once or twice for a fault that was never in the belt. Fitting a sound frame resets the geometry that every other part in the head depends on.
Plan the rebuild before stripping anything. Brush roller 2838AM, or soft-bristle roller 2838GE, comes across with release catch 2843GS; bearing blocks 5031HG right and 5766HG left carry the roller ends; belt 5463 runs from the motor to the sensor and belt 5110 from the sensor to the bearing block. Front bottom plate 2828HG and rear bottom plate 2830HG close the underside, and the shell on top is 2832AM for a G2 or 2832AM2 for a G5. Light gray is the correct finish and matches the base panels supplied for these machines.
