Product details
Strong suction at the floor head but a weak wand is the classic signature of a split connector tube. Part 1807HG is the light gray section that carries air upward out of the suction neck and into the cleaning wand on the SEBO 370 Comfort and Electronic 370, and a crack anywhere along it bleeds the attachment airflow away inside the machine.
The tube flexes every time the machine is reclined and straightened, so hairline splits tend to open at the moulded ends first, where the material is stiffest and the leverage highest. They are easy to miss by eye and easy to confirm by feel: run a hand along the tube with the vacuum running and listen for the hiss, or block the wand and see whether the motor note changes as it should. A leak here also explains the more confusing complaint, which is a machine that cleans carpet perfectly well and then does almost nothing through the hose and tools.
Colour matches the light gray mouldings used across the 370 range.
- Fits: SEBO 370 Comfort and Electronic 370
- Runs between: the suction neck and the cleaning wand
- Colour: light gray
- Fixes: weak suction through the on-board tools with normal floor performance
- Part number: 1807HG
- Related part: hose intake cover 1835GS, worth checking at the same time as it seals the other end of the same air path
A leak in this section usually changes the sound of the machine as well as its performance, since the motor is pulling against less resistance than it should and its note rises accordingly. Anyone searching for a SEBO 370 suction tube, a 370 Comfort wand connector or an Electronic 370 neck-to-wand tube is looking at part 1807HG.
Genuine SEBO from an authorized dealer, generally shipping in 2–5 business days. Check the seals at both ends once the tube is back in, and confirm the bag and filters are clear before condemning any air path — a full bag produces a similar loss of tool suction for a completely different reason.
