This is the cotton cover for the fabric tool on the Vapamore Primo MR-100 steamer, OEM part MR-100-12. It slips over the attachment so steam reaches the fabric through soft cotton rather than straight off the tool face.

The bonnet is what keeps the tool safe on upholstery, curtains and other soft furnishings, and it is also what does the wiping, since the cotton picks up the soil the steam has loosened. That is why it is a consumable. Once it is stained through, thinned at the contact face, or no longer sitting flat on the tool, it starts dragging soil back across the fabric instead of lifting it away.

It is sold individually, so keeping a spare means always having a clean face to work with partway through a long job. Fitting takes no tools: it slides over the fabric tool and comes off the same way.
