SEBO Cover Latch Spring Set...

Product details
Two springs, two production eras, one packet. Kit 7024ER carries the earlier and the later cover latch spring for SEBO uprights, so the right one is in your hands whichever build the machine left the factory as. Fitment: SEBO FELIX Premium, SEBO FELIX 2 Premium and SEBO DART.
On the FELIX parts drawing the cover latch spring is item 29, sitting in the run of small mechanical parts around the handle and cover — the retaining ring with spring, 7018OR, is item 27 on the same sheet, and the complete switch lever 7032ER is item 28. The spring's whole job is to load the latch so the bag compartment cover snaps home and stays clamped down. That clamp is what holds the bag collar to its seal; a lid that rests closed but unloaded lets dust creep around the edge of the seal instead of collecting in the bag, which shows up as fine grey deposits on the outside of the housing near the cover line.
Compare the spring you remove against the two supplied, fit the match and keep the odd one taped inside the manual. Owners usually notice the fault as a cover that needs a second press, or one that flicks open when the machine is bumped down a step.
