The crevice tool for the Rexair D-4 (Part #R15280) is a black replacement attachment that reaches into narrow spaces your floor nozzle cannot. Its tapered tip concentrates airflow to pull dust and debris from tight gaps.

A crevice tool that has cracked at the tip or split along its length loses the tight seal that gives it strong directed suction, so it struggles to clear seams and corners. A broken tip can also scratch surfaces. Swapping in a sound replacement restores focused suction for edges, upholstery seams, and cracks.
