Product details

This wall adapter, part CH-FA3816-6, joins a central vacuum hose to the wall inlet, finished with a black crushproof cuff at the connection.

The wall connection is an easy place to overlook when suction feels weak, since the fitting takes a lot of everyday abuse: day-to-day handling means it gets kicked, rolled over by furniture casters, and flexed hard whenever the hose gets dragged around a corner. Once the adapter cracks or the cuff loosens in the inlet, air slips in at that joint instead of being pulled through the hose, and pickup drops at the far end of the wand even though the power unit still runs at full strength.

  • Part: CH-FA3816-6, crushproof wall adapter
  • Cuff: black, crushproof construction
  • Wear signs: a visible crack, a cuff that no longer grips the inlet, or a suction drop with no other explanation
  • Before ordering: confirm the fitting size matches your existing wall inlet and hose end

Replacing a cracked or loose adapter is a quick fix that often resolves a suction complaint that looks like it should be coming from somewhere else in the system.
