Dirt Devil Soap Tank Assemb...

Product details

The soap tank assembly, part 2790750AF0, for the Royal RY7910 steamer and the RY7940, and listed for the Dirt Devil CE7900 as well. It is the reservoir that holds cleaning solution and meters it into the system while the machine is extracting.

Tanks crack at the seams and around the fittings, usually from being dropped when full or over-tightened at the cap. The tell-tale signs are solution disappearing faster than the job accounts for, a wet patch under the machine where it has been standing, and carpet that comes up under-cleaned because only part of the dose is reaching the nozzle.

The replacement assembly drops into the original position. Check the cap seal and any gaskets as you fit it, because a perfect tank behind a hardened seal leaks in exactly the same way.
