This two-pack of style 4 and 5 flat belts covers Dirt Devil's Featherlite, Swivel Glide and Vision upright lines along with several Royal-branded siblings, part 3720310001.
It fits the Dirt Devil 086425RC, 086930CA and CE7900, and the Royal RY6000, RY7050, RY7910 and RY7940. Two belts ship in the pack, which is useful given how often a belt is the first part to wear out on an upright that sees regular use, letting you keep a spare on hand for the next time the brush roll slows down instead of ordering again and waiting on shipping.
Watch for the brush roll turning noticeably slower than it used to, stalling under light pressure on carpet, or the motor sounding like it is working harder while the roller barely moves. All three point to a stretched or glazed belt rather than a motor problem, and replacing it promptly avoids putting extra strain on the motor bearings that support the brush roll spindle.
When you install the second belt from the pack down the road, clear any hair or thread wound around the brush roll first, since debris left in place wears through a new belt at close to the same rate as the one it replaced.
