Product details
The post-motor HEPA filter on a Dyson V7 or V8 sits in the round housing at the back of the machine, scrubbing the exhaust air before it leaves the vacuum. Dyson recommends washing it monthly, but foam and media break down over time — if your stick vac is pulsing, smells musty, or the filter looks gray no matter how often you rinse it, replacement is the answer. A new filter also protects the motor's airflow path, which keeps runtime and suction where they should be. Part #F647.
Fits these Dyson stick vacuums:
- Dyson V7 series (model family SV11)
- Dyson V8 series (model family SV10)
Let a washed filter dry a full 24 hours before reinstalling — or keep a spare on hand so you're never waiting.
