No control on the housing at all: 9251AM is the ET-2 floor head in black, built for central vacuum installations where the brush is switched at the handle or back at the power unit rather than under your foot.
Everything else follows the ET-2 pattern. A motor carried inside the head turns the brush shaft, which is what keeps the roller working pile at a constant rate rather than leaving the job to airflow. It is the wider of SEBO's two driven heads, and the parts list confirms it: the roller specified for an ET-2 is the 15-inch 2838AM, or 2838GE where soft bristles are wanted for finer floor coverings, against a 12-inch roller in the smaller ET-1. Choosing correctly between switched and unswitched matters more than it sounds, since a head with its own rocker fitted to a system that already controls the brush elsewhere leaves two places to remember and one of them usually gets forgotten.
Order this one when the old head is cracked, when its drive has failed, or when a second head keeps a large installation running while the first is serviced. The switched equivalents are 9250AM in red, 9259AM in white and 9958AM in black.
