Zip bag assembly for the Sanitaire SC-889A commercial upright, part 5346928. It is the screw-on style with a double zipper, and it takes Type ST inner paper bags — the black two-hole pattern.
Because the outer is cloth, nothing gets thrown away but the inner bag. That keeps running costs down on a machine emptied daily, and the double zipper means you can reach the inner bag from either end instead of feeding it through a single opening.
Change the assembly when the zipper sliders no longer track, when the fabric has clogged with fine dust to the point that airflow suffers, or when a seam has split and dust is escaping down the back of the machine. It screws onto the original mount on the Eureka and Sanitaire SC889A.
