Part 52282A4 is a brush strip set for the Eureka and Sanitaire VG II 12-inch roller, supplied as orange strips with blue bristles rather than a full replacement roller.
The strips slide into the existing roller's channels, so a roller with sound bearings and a straight core does not need to be replaced whole. Bristle tips wear flat well before the roller body does, and once they stop reaching down into the pile, carpets need a second pass to pick up what the brush used to catch on the first, even though the roller itself still turns normally.
