Read the number carefully on this one. On the AIRBELT K2 Kombi the dark blue exhaust filter cover is 6405DBER, a 6405 part rather than one of the 6403 numbers that cover the rest of the range, and ordering by colour alone is how people end up with a panel that will not clip on.
SEBO prints the finish two different ways as well. The parts list calls it dark blue with silver print; the AIRBELT K exploded view, where the cover appears as position 26, describes the same panel as midnight blue. One moulding, two descriptions, so match the number and ignore the wording.
Mechanically it is a clamp. The exhaust filter sits in a recess at the rear of the canister and this panel holds it there, which is the only reason the air leaving the machine has to travel through the pad rather than around its edge. A broken clip or a cracked panel lets the filter float, and the machine starts returning fine dust to the room it has just cleaned. Replace it when a clip has snapped away, when the cover stands proud of the body, or when it rattles in use.
For a K2 Kombi the colour-matched shell above this cover is top casing 6680DB1 in midnight blue, which brings with it the screw-fixed clip 6625ER for parking upholstery nozzle 6627GS, and the on/off knob catalogued for the Kombi is 60613WE. Inside, the machine runs electronic controller 6641ER. The filtration behind the panel is exhaust filter 6608ER, or 6696AM for the filter and pre-motor microfilter together, with bags 6629AM dropping into holder 6681HG at the front of the bag chamber.
