This genuine SEBO Felt Strip seats between the chassis and the swivel neck on the Automatic X7 and X8 uprights. It cushions and seals the joint where the swivel neck meets the chassis, keeping that contact smooth and closed.
Over time the felt strip compresses or wears, so the neck-to-chassis joint loosens, may leak air, or lets the parts contact harshly. Fitting a fresh strip restores a soft, sealing buffer at the joint so the swivel neck meets the chassis cleanly and quietly.
