Part F608 is a HEPA filter for Dyson's V11 cordless stick vacuum, covering the SV14, SV17, and SV28 variants. It sits at the exhaust end of the machine, filtering the air one last time before it leaves the vacuum.
HEPA is a filtration standard rather than a brand claim: to earn the label, a filter has to trap at least 99.97 percent of particles at 0.3 microns. That performance depends on the media staying clear. Once dust packs the pleats, the motor has to pull harder to move the same volume of air, and on a battery-powered machine that extra resistance shows up as shorter runtime on a full charge well before the battery itself is at fault.
